My name is Richard Chiu, the founder of Gold Creek CPA, and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Washington State. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Taxation. I began my career at PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") in Seattle where I worked in a tax projects specialty group primarily focused on conducting Research and Development tax credit studies for large public companies in the Northwest region. After two years at PwC, I had an amazing opportunity to join a tax group at Quellos Financial Advisors, which spun-off into Pioneer Wealth Partners, where I served ultra high-net worth individuals and families. This position became the foundation of my career for over 13 years before founding Gold Creek CPA in 2018.

 

At Gold Creek CPA, I offer a broad spectrum of tax services for individuals and small businesses. These services include tax return preparation, tax planning and projections, tax research, and charitable planning.  My goal is to utilize my tax knowledge and accounting expertise to serve the individuals, families and small businesses in the local community.
